A friend of mine asked me this question the other day and after explaining to him, I figured why not put a post together for people who might be asking the same question.As we all know, everyone and their mother are on Facebook, literally.But for many people, all it is an awesome social network site. It’s great for seeing what our friends are up to, and a great way to stay in touch with what’s going on.
Then there are some people who have figured out how to make money on Facebook.
So How Exactly Do You Do This?
The first thing you need to know about how to make money on Facebook is figure out exactly who your target market is. Simply put, these are the exact people you are going to be marketing/selling to. Facebook has over 800 million users but if you don’t know who you are marketing to, no one will buy anything.
Remember this is a “social” site so very aggressive marketing is not appreciated at all. Spamming is actually frowned upon, so I hope you weren’t planning on doing that 
. Anytime you see this happening it screams rookie.
Since this is an Internet/network marketing blog, I’ll use this example. Now you might be in a completely different niche, but you can follow the same guidelines.
What I would do is figure out exactly what people were searching for in this niche. I would do some keyword research with a tool such as the Google keyword tool.From here, you have to decide on whether you are going to go the free route, or paid. This all depends on your budget. Many times people start with the free ways and then make their way to paid advertisements.
The free route on how to make money with facebook would be to start connecting with people through specific groups. Once you have become a member of the group, started creating relationships with people who might be potential buyers. Not everyone will be a buyer, but worst case scenario you added another friend to your list. What this does is bring credibility and trust to your name. This is process takes a little longer, but nonetheless can bring a ton of results.
The paid route would be doing some Facebook Pay Per Click. This is the ad you see on the right side of your screen. This is a much faster way to reach out to your potential buyers. Here you can once again target specific keywords and people who have any interest in that can see your Ad on the right side of their page. This method of marketing is a little more difficult than the first example so you want to really know what you are doing.
Once again, remember Facebook is a social site so you want to be branding yourself with what you are promoting. This will help a person trust that you are someone who knows what he or she is talking about.Now that you know how to make money with Facebook, go out there and get started.
